Winter Shelters

Winter Shelters

Providing shelter from the harsh weather during the winter months in Central Oregon.

 What are Winter Shelters?

From November through March this winter season, Shepherd's House Ministries will operate two Winter Shelters in Redmond and continue its year-round shelter in Bend. During these months we will provide food, clothes, and a refuge from the cold, as well as friendship.

Redmond Winter Shelter

The Redmond Winter Shelter is operated by the staff of Shepherd’s House Ministries and volunteers from around Central Oregon.  The staff and volunteers provide shelter, clothes, and food for those needing refuge in Redmond on winter nights.  For our 2021-22 winter season, the shelter opens on November 15 and remains open until at least March 15, 2022. The Redmond Winter shelter is always seeking volunteers.
