On June 21st, 2023, Shepherd’s House ministries hosted a special event to rededicate the Women and Children’s Center in honor of Abi Floski, Daughter of Executive Director Curt Floski.

Abi lived her life to the fullest, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. With unwavering curiosity and an infectious passion, she cared deeply for those she knew and extended her compassion to strangers. She embodied an extraordinary example of how to love wholeheartedly. Her embodiment of the spirit and values she lived are also cherished at The Women and Children’s Center.

Abi’s hope for others mirrors the hope we hold for the women who seek refuge from the pervasive pain and trauma that have consumed their lives. Now, these women are discovering the profound joy of living life to its fullest, fueled by their curiosity and passion.

Abi’s legacy is a testament to the transformative power of love and compassion. We aim to honor and carry on this remarkable legacy at The Shepherd’s House Women and Children’s Center as we move forward. In recognition of Abi’s immense impact, we proudly announce that this special place will now be known as Abi’s House.
